MailChimp, Wufoo and Grasshopper Group Team Up For BarCamp Tour

barcamp-tour-logo.jpgIn the interest of bringing people together and spreading the know-how, a trio of SMB-friendly brands is teaming up to help support a series of BarCamp events across the United States this year.

The aptly named BarCamp Tour is being organized by MailChimp, Wufoo and Grasshopper Group, the makers Web tools for SMBs like Spreadable and Chargify.

Sponsor

Organizers of BarCamp conferences can apply to be a part of BarCamp Tour. If accepted, they’ll be entitled to sponsorship and hands-on participation from three reputable brands specializing in creating Web tools for small businesses.

MailChimp is one of more powerful around and Wufoo makes creating complex Web forms absurdly easy. We’ve previously written about Grasshopper Group’s content-sharing Web app Spreadable and billing platform Chargify.

For people planning BarCamp conferences from scratch, securing sponsorships and participants isn’t always easy, and having a few well-known Web app brand names tied to your event can make a huge difference.

The tour is expected to get started next month at BarCamp Boston and then head to at least ten more cities this year.
