Twitter and TV are an even better match than we thought — which is saying something — as new research published Monday shows that 92% of Twitter users have taken immediate action around a given show based solely on what’s in their feed.
And Twitter is especially powerful when a show’s star is doing the tweeting.

Though friends/family rank high, the Twitter audience overwhelmingly prefers its TV tweets come from actors, hosts, judges, contestants, et al., according to the study by Fox, Twitter and the Advertising Research Foundation.
