Looking for a wild Friday night at the movies in Los Angeles? Start with an apocalyptic blockbuster on its opening weekend, add a 5.1 magnitude earthquake just after 9 p.m.
Of the millions of Angelinos who rode out the temblor Friday night — the second strong one in two weeks — thousands did so from a seat at their local cinema. And by all accounts, many were watching Darren Aronofsky’s Noah — for which all the shaking turned out to be nothing more than a free experiential enhancement.
