If you’ve ever felt like you spend too much money on apps, this should make you feel a bit better.
Shaquille O’Neal, the retired basketball star and self-declared “techie,” told The Wall Street Journal in an interview during SXSW this week that he spends around $1,000 on apps each week.
“Honestly, I probably spend $1,000 on apps a week,” he said in the interview. “Real money. Last week, I bought like 20 deer-hunter games.”
He added: “When I’m not working, I spend all my money on apps.”
At least some of that spending may be business-related, though. Shaq was an early investor in Google and has repeatedly expressed interest in working with tech startups. Watch below: Read more…
