Scrabble has successfully made the jump to the digital age, but still lacks an updated dictionary of accepted words. You can’t play s-e-l-f-i-e-s, or instance, or h-a-s-h-t-a-g, much to the consternation of avid players who have both bingos on hand.
Realizing this, the game’s owner, Hasbro, is letting fans pick words that they think should be included in the first update of The Official Scrabble Players Dictionary in nine years. Fans looking to influence the choice can nominate their picks starting today through March 28 on the Hasbro Game Night Facebook Page.
