British broadcaster BSkyb has announced that its customers will start seeing a new electronic programme guide (EPG) that puts less of a focus on live TV from today. Rather than following the traditional route of telling you what’s being broadcast at any given time, the EPG will now include a range of on-demand content (whether that’s catch-up TV, box sets, or movies) as well as live TV.
