The Moto 360 — Motorola’s new smartwatch powered by Google’s Android Wear platform — has a lot going for it. It’s sleek, attractive, round — characteristics many existing smart watches on the market don’t offer.
But there are still many questions to be answered and it’s about time we get a deeper look at what to expect (see what we did there?). The Moto 360’s lead designer Jim Wicks will be discussing the design and style features behind the new device in a Google+ Hangout, starting at 2 p.m. ET
Motorola previously said it will be shipping the device in the summer, but we hope to find out more specifics on when. Other things we want to know are how it works, if it can be customized based on preferences and we’d like to see a demo on how it fields calls — apparently, you don’t have to hold the device up close to your mouth.
