Google Drive Slashes Prices on Storage

Google has announced a price cut on Drive, its cloud storage system, with current subscribers set to automatically pay less.

100 gigabytes of storage will now cost $1.99 per month, previously $4.99. One terabyte will be $9.99 per month, down from $49.99.

“Today, thanks to a number of recent infrastructure improvements, we’re able to make it more affordable for you to keep everything safe and easy to reach on any device, from anywhere,” Scott Johnston, director of product management at Google wrote in a blog post
