Leading fitness tracker maker Fitbit suffered a major setback Friday, when the company announced it had decided to recall its latest high-tech wristband — the Fitbit Force.
The Force was released last October to positive reviews and strong sales (with many vendors selling out of the device; to this day, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a Best Buy that still has them in stock). But almost immediately, some users started complaining of a skin rash when wearing the wristband — something that had not been reported with its predecessor, the Fitbit Flex.
