Google has been very busy this Valentine’s Day. Around the world, people see a doodle on Google’s homepage that lets them send interactive greeting cards. In the U.S., though, the Google Doodle is a bit different; Google collaborated with the public radio show This American Life to create one of the more touching interactive doodles in recent memory.
Instead of dazzling animations, this doodle relies on the real people — or, rather, the voices of real people. There is a bit of animation, though; if you go to Google.com, you’ll see the familiar Google logo very briefly, but each letter is immediately replaced with a candy heart. Read more…
