The Dutch dominated speed skating again when they swept the podium Tuesday at the men’s 10,000m competition. Athletes at the 2014 Sochi Olympics were just as hungry for the top spot on Wednesday.
The Russian men’s ice hockey team, expected to win the gold, was knocked out of medal contention in a 3-1 loss to Finland during a quarterfinal game. Finland will go on to face Sweden in the semifinals on Friday. Things also came to an end for Team USA’s Bode Miller, who skied what will likely be his last Olympic run in the men’s giant slalom event.
