Last year, multiple analysts recommended that Apple buy Tesla to make a bold push into the auto industry. As it turns out, the Cupertino, Calif. may have given that idea a little more thought than some assumed.
Apple’s head of mergers and acquisitions, Adrian Perica, met with Tesla CEO Elon Musk by Apple’s Cupertino headquarters last spring, according to the San Francisco Chronicle, citing an anonymous source. The newspaper also reported that Musk likely met with Apple CEO Tim Cook at that time
