BARCELONA — Besides launching a new flagship smartphone and tablet, Sony also unveiled a new wearable here at the Mobile World Congress — the SmartBand SWR10
It’s a wristband designed to be worn 24/7, and though it has an open micro-USB port it’s waterproof to IP58 specifications. It can be paired with a phone via NFC or Bluetooth, and — combined with Sony’s upcoming Lifelog app — it enables you to create a log of your activities, including places you’ve been to, music you’ve listened, games you’ve played, sleep cycles and so forth.
