Fall Out Boy is making the latest attempt to fill the Flappy Bird hole in our lives after the creator of the popular mobile game removed it from Apple’s App Store and the Google Play store on Sunday.
The band announced its plans to release a Fall Out Boy-themed version of Flappy Bird called Fall Out Bird.
“Rome wasn’t built in a day, but this game was,” the band said in a blog post. “Shoutout to the OG Flappy Bird, RIP.”
Judging by the screenshot posted with the news, the game will look very similar to the original Flappy Bird, but instead of a bird, the game will star the members of Fall Out Boy: Pete Wentz, Joe Trohman, Andy Hurley and a fedora-clad Patrick Stump. Read more…
