Facebook began moving its more than 100-person New York team into a new, larger office space on Monday.
Located in the Greenwich Village area in Manhattan at 770 Broadway, the office will house engineers working on Newsfeed, AI, mobile and other areas at Facebook. The space was designed by Frank Gehry, the same star architect who designed the expansion of Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif.
The move comes nearly nine months after Facebook signed a 10-year lease on the space. The new office takes up two floors in the building and is around 100,000 square feet, about twice the size of Facebook’s previous New York office on Madison Ave. Read more…
