The comparison between the Winter and Summer Olympics is historically kinder to the latter.
The former suffers from its season’s less-than-ideal conditions. Everyone, audience and athletes alike, are already freezing. And with events that revolve around ice and snow, it’s human instinct to steer clear.
It makes you wonder whose idea it was to invent sports for this terrible season. That’s where comedy sketch group Local Empire has stepped up to find an answer.
