After Arizona’s legislature passed a bill allowing business owners to deny service to LGBT customers on the grounds of religious beliefs, the decision rests in the hands of Arizona Governor Jan Brewer. If approved, the state could face litigation and boycott that could put a dent in Arizona’s economy and tourism.

The Bitcoin community is distancing itself after nearly 750,000 Bitcoins were stolen from Bitcoin exchange site Mt. Gox. In a joint statement on Bitcoin site Coinbase, the Bitcoin community condemned Mt. Gox and assured users Mt. Gox’s actions did not reflect the entire Bitcoin community. The CEOs of Coinbase, Kraken, Bitstamp, BTC China, Blockchain and Circle all signed the statement. Read more…
