Following an exciting start to the year at CES, we at TechCrunch are busy gearing up for our largest east coast spectacle of the year, Disrupt NYC. Battlefield applications are open now through February 20th. We’re looking for the coolest, most innovative and dare I say it, disruptive, companies to launch with us on-stage in NYC.
Why apply? Aside from launching on the most visible stage in tech, a cash prize of $50,000 and our Disrupt Cup, our Battlefield teams get a lot more behind the scenes to be pumped about. For starters, companies receive coaching from our staff and some of the best minds in the industry (Sequoia, EarlyBird Capital and the VegasTechFund to name a few) to ensure their pitches knock the socks off our judges.
At Disrupt, they’ll receive a free booth in the Battlefield section of startup alley to network their way to glory and the opportunity to rub elbows with our speakers and judges at VIP events.
Participating teams can also look forward to future perks like tickets to Disrupt conferences, VIP access at our meet-ups and of course TechCrunch swag.
Bre Pettis also provided a free Makerbot for our Hardware Battlefield at CES so you never know what might happen.
