Google Glass might be one of the neatest gadgets to come out of the tech world this year. Unfortunately, it’s also one of the most embarrassing gadgets to use in public.
YouTube prankster Ed Bassmaster hung around a shopping mall, speaking loudly into his Google Glass and confusing bystanders in the process. The prank is a takeoff of Bassmaster’s Bluetooth Man prank, in which he strikes up conversations with nearby strangers, only to claim that he’s talking to someone else on his Bluetooth device. The prank treads the thin line between painfully awkward and downright hysterical.
