Lucasfilm launched an official Instagram account for the space fantasy franchise Monday, announcing its presence with — what else? — a selfie of Darth Vader. Fans will recognize that corridor he’s standing in: the Tantive IV blockade runner from the beginning of the original Star Wars
The account already has more than 17,000 followers
Don’t get too excited, though; the photo doesn’t herald the beginning of filming on Star Wars Episode VII. That won’t begin until Spring 2014. Read more…
