Six to 12 pre-selected lucky Latin Grammys fans will participate in a Google Hangout with their favorite stars that will take place on the red carpet during the show on Thursday.
Producers from Univision, which will broadcast the show, sifted through social media sites to find a few super fans they have already chosen to participate in the Hangout. Stars will be able to walk up to the designated area and take questions from these fans, and the conversations will be broadcasted live to everyone watching at home.
“What we heard from our fans time, time and again, is let us connect with our favorite stars, let us have an impact on the show,” David Beck, senior vice president of social media at Univision, told Mashable.
