Bad girl Rihanna is having a good day. At the same time Dick Clark Productions announced she would soon receive the American Music Awards first-ever Icon Award, in part for being the the top-selling digital artist, most-Liked person on Facebook and most-viewed musician on YouTube, she unleashed her a new video for “What Now.”
Rihanna channels her dark side with her goth look, tweak-style gyrations and spastic B-roll sequences that add up to give the artsy video a solitary feel.
Fans are comparing this video to Rihanna’s previous efforts, including the spooky elements from “Disturbia,” intimate scenes from “Stay” and close-ups from “Diamonds.” Read more…
