HELSINKI, Finland — Nokia announced on stage during Finnish startup conference Slush that its Refocus app for Windows Phones is now available for download. The app, first unveiled at Abu Dhabi in October, allows users to give photos an artsy twist by emphasizing certain focal points and colors, while letting friends on Facebook play with how they see the picture, too.
Similar to the Lytro camera, the Refocus app calls out depths and colors in your shots. Check out the image above, which displays all colors in full view, and the picture below, which instead highlights the male subject’s yellow shirt. Read more…
