Netflix and Disney-owned Marvel announced a deal on Thursday that will bring four original series featuring iconic superheroes to the online streaming service.
The programming won’t start until 2015, but the first of the four 13-episode series will feature Marvel’s Daredevil. Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage will all have their own live-action series following Daredevil’s lead.
The story lines will unfold over multiple years of original programming, Marvel explained in a statement
The partnership also includes a mini-series event featuring Marvel’s “The Defenders,” which will cap off the four series. Read more…
