Microsoft will hold over-the-top launch celebrations around the world for the the next-generation Xbox One console on Nov. 22.
The Xbox One launches in 13 countries on that day, including the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Austria. Microsoft will hold events in many of those countries on Thursday night, as the clock rolls around to midnight and the console goes on sale.
The two main launch celebrations in the United States will be in New York and Los Angeles. In New York, fans will bet treated to a concert by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square. The first 1,000 fans in line who purchase an Xbox One console or game will get free admission to the concert, as well as chances to play Xbox One Launch titles.
