Daily deals site LivingSocial has been down for almost a full day as the company executes “maintenance.”
As of 11 a.m. ET on Wednesday, the company’s webpage was still outfitted with an alert message: “LivingSocial is temporarily down for maintenance. This won‘t take too long. We’ll be back soon.” LivingSocial’s mobile apps are also not functioning properly, but consumers can still access their vouchers via email. The message had previously stated that the maintenance was “scheduled,” but the company later updated the language
A LivingSocial rep told Mashable that the company would soon issue an update on its blog. Its last post from Tuesday blamed the issues on an “internal error.” Read more…
