Is the Nexus 8 Tablet on Google’s KitKat Promo Site?

Google updated its promotional Android site, and there’s a tablet hiding on one of the pages that might actually be the company’s unreleased Nexus 8.

Nestled in the Apps and Entertainment section of the site — which was recently updated with the launch of the Nexus 5 smartphone — there’s an image of a woman tapping what could potentially be Google’s next-generation device. The device is running the latest version of Android, KitKat

The device is a bit different than the current Nexus tablet model, with a slimmer bezel and looking smaller in size (about 8 inches). The tablet was first spotted by Verge forum user Britoid. Read more…
