A ship’s mechanic spending the holidays away from his family enjoys a bittersweet moment with them, thanks to Google’s Nexus 7 in a new ad from the company.
In the ad, the man is shown working in the engine room when a coworker taps him on the back to tell him his shift is over. The man then shaves and employs his Nexus 7 to enjoy an emotional holiday video call with his family. Despite the the physical distance, the family are reunited virtually and enjoy a laugh when the camera pans to the family dog, which is outfitted with a pair of reindeer’s antlers.
