Jack Robbins is a champion and you’re gonna hear him roar — for the first time ever

The 8-year-old from Texas has severe autism, leaving him mostly nonverbal (apart from basic words or repeating short phrases when told). He doesn’t communicate emotion or create his own sentences, that is, until he heard a Katy Perry tune

Robbins’ parents began noticing their son continuously repeating phrases and sounds. Assuming it was nothing, they ignored it, Robbins’ mom, Carla, explained in the video’s YouTube description. Jack’s dad eventually realized that his son was singing the popular song “Roar.” Read more…
