It seems X-Men: Days of Future Past is trying to set some sort of world record by cramming as many beautiful, Oscar-winning (or nominated) people into a two-minute trailer as possible.
The movie explores the series within the comic books where future X-Men must help their past selves save the future. (Take a moment to process that.) The time-traveling plot allows the movie to bulk up on a star-studded cast, combining the members of 2011’s X-Men: First Class (James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence) with the classic mutants (Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart, Ian Mckellen).
