NASA astronaut Mike Massimino visited the NowThis News team to answer all of our questions about outer space. To start, we wanted to know his favorite movies with space travel. Check out his list:
Massimino ranked Apollo 13 as his third-favorite space movie. The movie had the second-most Oscar nominations that year.
It was only released in theaters a few days ago, and Gravity is already taking home silver from Massimino. The movie had a recording-setting $55.6 million debut, so it looks like he isn’t the only person who loved it.
Continuing the theme of catastrophes in space, top honors goes to The Right Stuff, that classic movie about the original Mercury 7 astronauts. Read more…
