The 10 Countries With the Most Internet Freedom

Iceland has the fewest barriers to Internet freedom, according a recent study ranking countries based on obstacles to access, limits on content and violations of user rights. Iceland scored just six out of a possible 40 points. (The lower number of points, the higher level of Internet freedom.)

Internet users in Estonia, which trails Iceland by just three points, also enjoys a high degree of freedom. The United States tied with Germany for third place on the rankings, each with a total of 17 points each. Argentina and Kenya have the most barriers to Internet freedom, with 27 and 28 points, respectively. Read more…
