LinkedIn is expecting mobile to play a big role in the company’s future — and that future isn’t far off, according to CEO Jeff Weiner.

This push towards mobile is important for LinkedIn’s growth, says Weiner. Users who visit LinkedIn via mobile are 2.5 times more active than their desktop counterparts, and many countries already have more than 50% of unique visitors from mobile devices, including Singapore, Denmark, and Turkey.
