LG launched the LG G Pro Lite, its latest smartphone to enter the already crowded market of midrange devices
Sure, the 5.5-inch, 960 x 540 screen and 3,140 milliamp-hour battery sound pretty good, but the rest of the specifications aren’t stellar: a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and an 8-megapixel rear camera (coupled with an 1.3-megapixel front-facing one). The device runs Android 4.1.2, an older version of Jelly Bean that’s been available more than a year.
Other highlights include the embedded stylus pen, stereo speakers and dual SIM-card support with a dedicated hotkey to switch from one SIM to the other — a clear indicator the device is aimed mainly at markets outside the U.S. Read more…
