It’s annoying and repetitive, but the formula has proven to get clicks, so everyone keeps doing it

So what if the authors of our favorite books participated in similar clickbait-y behavior? Book titles like Pride and Prejudice and The Catcher in the Rye would be sacrificed for epic-ly, buzzword-y, terrible headlines
