Google has purchased FlexyCore, a French company that develops software solutions for mobile phones
L’Expansion, a French news site, reports that Google paid about $23 million for the 5-year-old company. A Google rep confirmed the buy, but did not verify the figure
FlexyCore is best known for DroidBooster, a free app which revs the speed of Android apps without draining the battery. The app makes Android run up to 10 times faster. Though high-end Android devices run well enough, the app may be useful for entry-level Androids
