The touching clip shows Coach Collins surprising Wildcats walk-on James Montgomery by awarding him a full scholarship in front of all his teammates. In college sports, walk-ons are players who try out for, and make the team, but aren’t deemed worthy of qualifying for a scholarship. So Montgomery went from paying his own way over the past two seasons to having all his books and tuition taken care of this year
