Apple has hired Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts as Senior Vice President of Retail and Online Stores, the company has announced
Her duties will include overseeing the “strategic direction, expansion and operation” of Apple retail and online stores
Ahrendts will assume her new position “in the spring,” Apple said
Apple has previous ties with Burberry — last month, the two companies partnered, with Burberry using iPhone 5S devices to capture its Spring/Summer 2014 collection debut.
