For this week’s round of the Mashable Photo Challenge Guest Series, we wanted to see your best concert photos. We received close to 500 submissions, ranging from photos of performers on stage in their element to wide-angle shots of concert halls from all different angles. Guest curator Paul R. Giunta, who specializes in live music photography, selected his favorite 16.
“The impressive pool of submissions ranged from pro DSLR shots to mobile phone shots that in some cases were hard to tell apart,” he said. “I think people really got what I was going for here, as there were so many amazing photographs that froze the scene of the performance or the emotion of a song. Scrolling through them, I felt like I was bouncing from show to show and venue to venue with each one.” Read more…
