Yet the ad cleverly subverts a cliche of the genre to reveal a clever, touching twist. Released on Sept. 3, the ad has accrued about 60,000 views. Perhaps more importantly, it made the front page of Reddit Thursday under the heading “One of the best alcohol commercials in a while.”
