What we didn’t know was how aggressively Apple would price and pitch the new phones. We didn’t know the company would come out swinging at Android with a $99 iPhone (with contract) at the low end. We didn’t know the 5C would be described as “unapologetically plastic,” or that it would use the same Retina screen as its more expensive brethren.
