Addressing her raunchy MTV Video Music Awards performance for the first time, Miley Cyrus said she knew she and Robin Thicke would “make history” with their “Blurred Lines” duet in which Cyrus groped Thicke with a large foam finger and twerked near his nether regions.
They certainly did go down in the history books — the ex-Disney star won the title of most-mentioned VMAs guest on Twitter with 4.5 million mentions during the initial broadcast. Buzz around the jaw-dropping performance (watch below) lasted well into the Labor Day weekend
