Microsoft unveiled on Monday at its event in New York City the Surface 2 tablet, which is heralded as a total revamp of its predecessor and comes with a ton of free cloud storage.
The device, which starts at $499, features a full 1080p display, 25% more battery life — so it can be used more than 12 hours a day — and is lighter and thinner than before. Its BUS speed for Wi-Fi has also doubled and it comes with a USB 3.0 port and microSD. Surface 2 runs on the lightning-fast NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor and runs on Windows RT 8.1.
