iOS 7 Is Now Available To The Public

Apple, mobile developers and designers had 98 days of summer to play with the iOS 7 beta. Now it is time for everyone else with the public release of iOS 7.

Apple latest version of its mobile operating system for iPhones, iPod Touch and iPads is officially available to the public as of 1 p.m. EDT today. In addition to the new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, Apple is making iOS 7 available to most of its other iOS-based mobile devices. Older versions of the iPhone will be able to receive the update all the way back to the iPhone 4 (which includes the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5). The iPad 2, as well as the third and fourth generation of iPads and iPad Mini, will receive the update, as will the fifth-generation iPod Touch (but no earlier iPod Touch generations will get iOS 7).
