In the first half of 2013, Yahoo received 12,444 government data requests, which is more than either Facebook and Twitter did. It also received more than Google did in the second half of 2012, the last period for which it reported its government requests.
Statista created this chart comparing the amount of government data requests received by four major tech companies. Though Microsoft publishes a transparency report, it quantifies its data in 12-month periods, so it couldn’t be compared with the companies on this chart
