What’s a modern awards show without a few selfies or photobombs? To ensure viewers of Sunday’s Primetime Emmys get a dose of filtered celebrity selfies, Facebook and Instagram are setting up “InstaStop” iPad booths on the red carpet and backstage.
“Instagram and Hollywood are a natural pair,” Emily White, Instagram’s director of business operations, told Mashable. “Over the past several years we’ve seen media and technology coming together and Instagram is one of the companies at the center of that. Our community is using Instagram to capture those moments — big and small — which gives people a unique and 360-degree look into Hollywood.” Read more…
