Rockstar Games made music from blockbuster Grand Theft Auto V available on iTunes on Tuesday. The three-album set features music licensed by the game and an original score
The music of the Grand Theft Auto franchise always acts as something bigger than a scene-setter. The franchise has prominently featured radio stations full of curated content. One of the albums acts as a best-of collection with songs from the game’s 17 radio stations.
Rockstar said this is the first GTA to feature its own original score, which is on the second album. The game’s score was created by Tangerine Dream, The Alchemist and Oh No, as well as Woody Jackson, who created the music for Red Dead Redemption and L.A. Noire.
