Chipotle released its first mobile game on Thursday along with a companion short film in an effort to promote food sustainability
The film and the game center around a scarecrow in a “dystopian world” who wants to break the strong grip of big food corporations and “provide an alternative to the unsustainable processed food from the factory.” Both were developed by Moonbot Studios, a small Academy Award-winning studio, and the short film featured a song from Fiona Apple.
The game, which is available for free on iPhone and iPad, encourages players to “tilt and tap your way through four unique worlds to protect vulnerable veggies, rescue caged animals, and bring fresh food to the citizens of Plenty, all while dodging the menacing Crowbots.” Read more…
