Xobni is launching a gadget platform and app store that provides the capabilities to run third-party apps in Outlook form within the message sidebar and the message body.
It is fairly robust. Xobni is launching with a number of services. Application partners include Dropbox, Yammer, Atlassian, Salesforce.com and a host of others.
Xobni is a service that is most well-known for its integration with Microsoft Outlook. This offering is about bringing apps into an environment where hundreds of millions of people do most of their work.
People can use the apps to see and follow their activities or communicate, for instance, by scheduling a Web conference. That’s opposed to having to go to an external Web site:

Xobni also has an enterprise grade option. Customers can use the platform to integrate services that can be controlled by an IT administrator.
There are lots of app platforms emerging.but none really can integrate like Xobni can. That is what will set it apart as millions of people have a central way to access moern, Web-based apps.
