Squeezing all those grapes and making those products means the company must manage a sophisticated system that over the years has meant a lot of new servers to keep operations running.
But over time, the company started reaching its power and cooling limits. That meant the possibility of having to move its entire data center to a larger facility. Instead, they started to explore virtualization as an option for managing its server network.
